The Psalms, Book I - Beginnings
Psalm 1:1-3 How blessed is the man… his delight is in the law of the LORD, He
will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit
in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he
prospers.
Psalm 1:6 The LORD knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the wicked
will perish.
Psalm 2:1-2 Why are the nations in an uproar and the peoples devising a vain
thing? The kings of the earth take their stand
Psalm 2:7 -9 He said to Me, "You are My Son, You shall break them with a rod of
iron, You will shatter them “
Psalm 2:12 Kiss the Son
Psalm 41:5 My enemies speak evil against me, "When will he die?"
Psalm 41:7 All who hate me whisper together against me
Psalm 41:9 Even my close friend in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, has lifted
up his heel against me
Psalm 40:12 Evils beyond number have surrounded me; My iniquities have overtaken
me, so that I am not able to see
Psalm 35:11 Malicious witnesses rise up; They ask me of things that I do not
know.
Psalm 38:13 But I am like a mute man who does not open his mouth
Psalm 38:11 My loved ones and my friends stand aloof from my plague; My kinsmen
stand afar off.
Psalm 22:1 My God, my God, why have You forsaken me? Far from my deliverance are
the words of my groaning.
Psalm 22:2 O my God, I cry by day, but You do not answer; And by night, but I
have no rest.
Psalm 22:3 You are holy
Psalm 22:6 But I am a worm and not a man
Psalm 22:14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint; My
heart is like wax; It is melted within me.
Psalm 22:16 They pierced my hands and my feet.
Psalm 22:17-18 They look, they stare at me; They divide my garments among them,
And for my clothing they cast lots
Psalm 18:6-7 I called upon the LORD. He heard my voice out of His temple Then
the earth shook and quaked because He was angry.
Psalm 18:16 He sent from on high, He took me; He drew me out of many waters.
Psalm 18:17 He delivered me from my strong enemy
Psalm 18:19 He brought me forth also into a broad place; He rescued me
Psalm 18:20 The LORD has rewarded me according to my righteousness
Psalm 24:7 Lift up your heads, O gates, That the King of glory may come in!
Psalm 14:1 The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt,
they have committed abominable deeds
Psalm 14:3 They have all turned aside, together they have become corrupt; There
is no one who does good, not even one
Psalm 4:3 But know that the LORD has set apart the godly man for Himself; The
LORD hears when I call to Him
Psalm 4:8 In peace I will both lie down and sleep, For You alone, O LORD, make
me to dwell in safety.
Psalm 5:12 You bless the righteous man, O LORD, You surround him with favor as
with a shield.
Psalm 8:3-6 When I consider Your heavens, What is man that You take thought of
him? Yet You have made him a little lower than God, And You crown him with glory
and majesty! You make him to rule over the works of Your hands; You have put all
things under his feet
Psalm 10:18 That man who is of the earth will no longer cause terror.
Psalm 10:2 the wicked man
Psalm 10:3 the wicked man boasts
Psalm 10:3 the greedy man curses the LORD
Psalm 9:9 The LORD will be a stronghold for the oppressed, A stronghold in times
of trouble
Psalm 20:1 May the LORD answer you in the day of trouble
Psalm 20: 2 May He send you help from the sanctuary
Psalm 37:39 The salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is their
strength in time of trouble.
Psalm 2:2-3 The kings of the earth take their stand against the LORD and against
His Anointed, saying, "Let us tear their fetters apart and cast away their cords
from us!"
Psalm 41:12 As for me, You uphold me And You set me in Your presence forever.
Psalm 41:13 Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, From everlasting to
everlasting.
