Joshua Chapters 13 – 18 How Faith is Involved in Solving Obstacles

Joshua 5:1 Now it came about when all the kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan to the west, and all the kings of the Canaanites who were by the sea, heard how the LORD had dried up the waters of the Jordan before the sons of Israel until they had crossed, that their hearts melted, and there was no spirit in them any longer, because of the sons of Israel.

Joshua 5:2-3 At that time the LORD said to Joshua, "Make for yourself flint knives and circumcise again the sons of Israel." So Joshua made himself flint knives and circumcised the sons of Israel

Joshua 5:8 Now it came about when they had finished circumcising all the nation, that they remained in their places in the camp until they were healed.

Joshua 5:9 Then the LORD said to Joshua, "Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you."

Joshua 5:10 While the sons of Israel camped at Gilgal, they observed the Passover on the evening of the fourteenth day of the month on the desert plains of Jericho.

Numbers 32:5 They said, "If we have found favor in your sight, let this land be given to your servants as a possession; do not take us across the Jordan."

Numbers 32:22 …and the land is subdued before the LORD, then afterward you shall return and be free of obligation toward the LORD and toward Israel, and this land shall be yours for a possession before the LORD.

Joshua 5:11-12 And on the day after the Passover, on that very day, they ate some of the produce of the land, unleavened cakes and parched grain. And the manna ceased on the day after they had eaten some of the produce of the land, so that the sons of Israel no longer had manna, but they ate some of the yield of the land of Canaan during that year.

Hebrews 5:12 You have need again for someone to teach you the elementary principles of the oracles of God, and you have come to need milk and not solid food.

Hebrews 5:13-14 Everyone who partakes only of milk is not accustomed to the word of righteousness, for he is a babe.
But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil.

James 1:25 one who looks intently at the perfect law, the law of liberty, and abides by it…this man shall be blessed in what he does.

2 Corinthians 3:
17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

18 But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.
John 6:
32 Jesus therefore said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread out of heaven, but it is My Father who gives you the true bread out of heaven.

33 "For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven, and gives life to the world."

Joshua 5:13 Now it came about when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, a man was standing opposite him

Joshua 5:15 And the captain of the Lord's host said to Joshua, "Remove your sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy."

Joshua 14:
6 Then the sons of Judah drew near to Joshua in Gilgal, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him, "You know the word which the LORD spoke to Moses the man of God concerning you and me

12 Now then, give me this hill country about which the LORD spoke on that day, for you heard on that day that Anakim were there, with great fortified cities; and I shall drive them out as the LORD has spoken."

Psalm 37:4 Delight yourself in the LORD; and He will give you the desires of your heart.

Jeremiah 33:3 Call to Me, and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty (“hidden”) things, which you do not know.

Joshua 3:3-4 When you see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God with the priests carrying it, then you shall set out from your place and go after it. However, there shall be between you and it a distance of about 2,000 cubits by measure.

Do not come near it, that you may know the way by which you shall go, for you have not passed this way before."

Psalm 25:4-5 4 Make me know Your ways, O LORD; Teach me Your paths.

5 Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; For You I wait all the day.

Psalm 119:105 Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
