The First Four Trumpets

God Begins to Dismantle His Own Creation

Revelation 8:6  And the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound them.

Revelation 8:7  The first sounded, and there came hail and fire, mixed with blood, and they were thrown to the earth; and a third of the earth was burned up, and a third of the trees {i.e., fruit trees} were burned up, and all the green grass {i.e., cereal grains}was burned up.

Revelation 8:8  The second angel sounded, and something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea; and a third of the sea became blood,

Revelation 8:9 and a third of the creatures which were in the sea and had life, died; and a third of the ships were destroyed.

Revelation 8:10  The third angel sounded, and a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of waters.

Revelation 8:11 The name of the star is called Wormwood; and a third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter.

Revelation 8:12  The fourth angel sounded, and a third of the sun and a third of the moon and a third of the stars were struck, so that a third of them would be darkened and the day would not shine for a third of it, and the night in the same way.

Romans 1:20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.

Romans 1:21 For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Romans 1:22 Professing to be wise Professing wisdom, they became fools,

Romans 1:23 and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four-footed animals and crawling creatures.

Romans 1:25 For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, they turned the truth of God into a lie and worshiped and served the creature revered and worshipped the creation the rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

Revelation 8:13  Then I looked, and I heard an eagle an angel flying in midheaven, saying with a loud voice, "Woe, woe, woe to those who dwell on the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!"

2 Peter 3:11  Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness separated and in a pleasant life

2 Peter 3:12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat!

2 Peter 3:13 But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.
